Dear participants, colleagues and friends,
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to Accra, GHANA, for the IFATCA-AFM 2015 Regional Meeting. This is the second time the Ghana Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (GHATCA) is organizing the AFM Regional Meeting. The first in 2001 at this particular venue, and we have been yelling for another opportunity. We want to put on record that we are very grateful to all Member Associations for giving us this opportunity. Thank you.
The conference theme: “Providing an Enabling Environment for Air Navigation: the Role of the Stakeholders”, speaks tones for itself. In this challenging period in air navigation it is very necessary to have all hands on deck to provide unique solutions that will be suitable for all. With this in our minds we are very happy to bring together colleagues, experts and major industry players to deliberate on the issues for a safer aviation and enhancement of our profession.
On behalf of the members of GHATCA I wish you all a pleasant stay and unforgettable experience. Welcome to Accra, Ghana
